I'm excited to be working with Pieces of Us, including Jerry Krahn, Chuck Bond and Bill Douglass, at the Sacramento Jazz Festival over Memorial Day weekend! Rumor has it, Jerry may have some guest artist spots as well.
Chuck Bond and I are hard at work mixing and producing the new CD for Parlor Jam, and we're hoping to have it ready by the Sac fest. In the meantime, I have a new CD available featuring yours truly on vocals and the fabulous ragtime pianist Mark Allin Jones. This CD features songs written from 1910 to 1920, all of which were performed by Sophie Tucker. If you like ragtime and excellent piano chops, you'll dig this CD. Produced by Craig Wright, who is also scheduling a Sophie Tucker show and festival next January. More details on that later!
Finally, Laura Hohlwein is doing a great job on the new website. Can't wait to see it all completed!
